This Easy Zuppa Toscana Soup is a delicious twist featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham, ideal for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add potatoes and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer.
  4. Once potatoes are tender, stir in heavy cream, chicken ham, and cooked bacon.
  5. Add chopped kale and Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
