Easy Soondubu Jjigae

This Easy Soondubu Jjigae recipe is a comforting and spicy dish that you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 block soft tofu
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and green onion, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in gochugaru and soy sauce, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth, and add mushrooms and tofu.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochugaru.
  • Serve with rice for a complete meal.
