- 1 pound steak, cut into cubes
- 4 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
- In a large pot, brown the steak over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, and sauté until onion is translucent.
