  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, and beef broth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  5. Remove the beef and shred it with two forks.
  6. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker.
  7. Prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions.
  8. Add the noodles and broccoli to the slow cooker and mix well.
  9. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
