Shrimp & Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Pot Pie

A comforting and delicious pot pie featuring succulent shrimp and lobster encased in a cheesy biscuit crust.

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and heavy cream until thickened.
  4. Add shrimp, lobster, Old Bay seasoning, peas, carrots, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions, adding milk. Drop spoonfuls over the seafood mixture.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add chopped scallions or herbs.
