  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 6 slices bread, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.
  4. Add the bread cubes, cooked bacon, bell peppers, onions, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
