Salmon Sushi Bake

Indulge in a delicious salmon sushi bake that’s easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine rice and water in a pot and cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Stir this into cooked rice until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and green onions.
  5. Spread the seasoned rice in a baking dish, then layer the salmon mixture on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot with nori strips on the side.

Notes

  • Adjust the heat of sriracha according to your preference.
  • Garnish with additional green onions before serving.
