  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk and eggs, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead in the butter until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread raspberry jam over it.
  6. Roll the dough into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Let it rise again until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
