  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread cream cheese over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar.
  6. Tightly roll the dough into a log and slice into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  8. While the rolls are baking, make the frosting by combining the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  9. Once the rolls are done, let them cool slightly, then frost with the cream cheese mixture.
