  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil, then add broken lasagna noodles. Cook until noodles are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese; cover until the cheese is melted.
