Ingredients

  • 100 grams butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
  4. In another bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a prepared cake pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
