Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole

A delicious and easy to prepare Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole made with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, and maple syrup.
  3. Grease a casserole dish and layer the bread in the bottom.
  4. Spread the turkey bacon and chicken ham evenly over the bread.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and meat, and top with Swiss cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown.

Notes

  • This casserole can be prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Use different cheeses for added flavor.
