- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 lemon, juiced

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
