Italian Quesadillas: Indulgent Twist with Turkey Bacon and Chicken Ham

Italian Quesadillas

Delight in the rich flavors of Italian Quesadillas filled with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and place one tortilla in the skillet.
  3. Layer the turkey bacon, chicken ham, mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, and basil onto the tortilla.
  4. Place the second tortilla on top and cook until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the filling.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
