Instructions

  3. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled.
  6. Punch down the dough and fold in the dried fruit and currants.
  7. Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Cover the buns and let them rise for another hour.
  9. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Cool and frost the tops with a simple icing.
