Hawaiian Roll French Toast

A delicious and comforting twist on classic French toast using sweet Hawaiian rolls.

  • 6 Hawaiian rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the rolls, ensuring they are all well coated.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  5. Add the soaked rolls to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.

Notes

  • For added sweetness, sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
