Garlic Butter Pasta

A delightful dish combining garlic butter and turkey bacon, perfect for a quick meal.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped turkey bacon, sautéing until bacon is crispy and garlic is fragrant.
  3. Once pasta is cooked, drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter mixture.
  5. If needed, add reserved pasta water to help sauce adhere.
  6. Stir in red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese, mixing well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream.
  • You can substitute regular bacon if desired.
