Instructions

  1. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into rings.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a batter.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Dip each apple ring in the batter and carefully place it in the hot oil.
  7. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
