French Onion Pasta

A delightful pasta dish featuring French onion soup flavors with turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 cups shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, cooking until caramelized.
  4. Add beef broth, soy sauce, and thyme to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and bacon, and mix until well combined.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and let it melt before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the broth.
