  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham
  • 1 loaf French baguette
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same skillet, lightly toast sliced chicken ham.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1-inch pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  5. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped basil.
  6. Top toasted baguette slices with tomato mixture, then add pieces of turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  7. Serve immediately as an appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add mozzarella cheese on top before baking.
  • Feel free to substitute any leafy herbs for basil.
