Easy Creamy Garlic Penne With Sausage & Spinach

This dish is a delightful mix of creamy garlic sauce, penne pasta, savory sausage, and fresh spinach.

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan, and stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
