Dump-and-Bake Chicken Tzatziki Casserole

A quick and delicious way to prepare chicken with tzatziki flavors.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup uncooked orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, tzatziki sauce, uncooked orzo, chicken broth, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and the chicken is heated through.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with additional tzatziki and fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the chicken with grilled vegetables.
  • This casserole can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
