  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, vanilla, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut the brioche into thick slices and dip each slice into the egg mixture, letting it soak.
  4. Arrange the soaked bread in a baking dish and pour any remaining mixture over the top.
  5. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Set aside.
  6. Bake the French toast until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with crispy turkey bacon and a sprinkle of sugar on top that can be torched for a caramelized finish.
