Crème Brûlée French Toast

An indulgent breakfast recipe that combines the classic flavors of crème brûlée with French toast, complemented by crispy turkey bacon.

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Soak the brioche slices in the mixture for about 5 minutes per side.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  4. In another skillet, cook soaked brioche slices over medium-low heat until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve the French toast topped with crispy turkey bacon and a sprinkle of additional sugar, then caramelize the sugar with a kitchen torch for a crème brûlée finish.
