- 8 ounces lasagna noodles
- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
- Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the pot; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.
- Add the cooked lasagna noodles and turkey bacon back into the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Simmer until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with remaining mozzarella and chopped basil before serving.
