  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the top, then dollop the remaining brownie batter on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
