  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it stand for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Stir in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs until combined.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly, then cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar for frosting, then spread over warm rolls.
