  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and additional cinnamon for the topping.
  7. Fill the muffin cups with batter and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
