- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, then pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
