Chicken Sausage and Broccoli Orzo

A delicious and nutritious dish featuring chicken sausage, broccoli, and orzo pasta.

  • 8 ounces orzo
  • 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, add orzo and Italian seasoning. Reduce heat and let simmer until orzo is cooked.
  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
