  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced chicken ham
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the chicken broth, chicken ham, mixed vegetables, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream and flour. Slowly stir into the pot.
  6. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.
