Butternut Squash Apple Bake

  • 2 cups butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the butternut squash and apples.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the spice mixture over the squash and apples, add the melted butter, and toss until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread the oats on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the squash is tender.
