Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

A delightful and savory breakfast dish that combines flaky biscuits with creamy gravy and turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, whisk together the flour and milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the gravy mixture.
  5. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and layer half of them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour half of the gravy over the biscuits, then add half of the bacon and half of the cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a spicy version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the gravy.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave for a quick breakfast.
