- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
