Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake

This Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake combines the rich flavors of traditional baklava with creamy cheesecake for a truly indulgent dessert.

  • 1 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cream cheese blocks, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed pistachios, melted butter, and graham cracker crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Top with additional crushed pistachios and a drizzle of honey before serving.
  • For a firmer cheesecake, refrigerate overnight.
