  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 pouch fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jars and lids by sterilizing them.
  2. In a large pot, combine diced apples and lemon juice.
  3. Add sugar and spices; stir until well mixed.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  5. Add pectin and boil for another minute.
  6. Fill jars with the hot jam, leaving a little space at the top.
  7. Seal the jars and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Use tart apples for a better flavor.
  • Store the jam in a cool, dark place.
